Thought #1) oh dear Jesus, they use THAT for a transvaginal ultrasound? They’d better require the technician to buy her dinner first. But seriously, wow, I knew the procedure was uncomfortable but, guhh, do not want! My lady parts are out of commission for the rest of the day.

Thought #2) Yeah, lately I’m beginning to realize how hypocritical the Republicans are. They think having to buy health insurance violates our civil liberties, that mandatory vaccinations are intrusive, that the government should stay out of healthcare, that getting patted down at the airport is a violation of privacy, but stuff like THIS is totally fine? Really?

Thought #3) Oh no, comparing having to buy something you don’t want to being raped isn’t offensive at all. You insensitive prick. Rape is rape. Having to buy health insurance is a necessary initiative to improve access to healthcare and overall public health. Having the government control my uterus is more like rape, because I’m losing control over my body, but still not an actual form of rape, than being forced to buy insurance.

This makes me want to throw something. But I’m at work so, yeah.
